oh my gosh, you guys, i have so many images i want to post and i don’t know where to begin!  the fall is busy for me ~ i’m seeing past clients again for their annual family photos, meeting new clients excited for holiday cards and gifts, running all over the place delivering prints and chatting with you.   fall sessions tend to be higher energy, i think, so i just LOVE it when it’s time for a newborn session.  the whole world stops for two or three hours while the new parents and i sit in their toasty warm house, swaying and shushing and snuggling the itty bitty baby into a deep sleep.

most clients don’t get to see sneak peeks quite so quickly but since it IS this little guy’s birthday, i thought i’d post a few for his mom.  it was such a pleasure to meet you guys this morning and spend a little time with your family.  i hope the rest of the day is full of celebration!

did everyone have a fun halloween?  between us, i forgot about it until well after lunch.  oops.   one thing i need to make note of for next year, though, is that small toddlers are unusually well behaved in a restaurant when all of the staff is dressed up in costumes.  my husband and i enjoyed a quiet dinner while our girls stared in awe at the creatures bustling around us.

also, i do not have one.single.photo of my girls in their costumes from last weekend’s trick-or-treat.  what the heck?  i have no excuse!  so close your eyes and imagine one very unhappy hot pink octopus and one sugared-up monkey.  they were quite the pair!
