here’s another little guy that i’ve had the joy of photographing since he was a tiny little guy of just a few days old. he’s so big now! aren’t his eyes so expressive?

here’s another little guy that i’ve had the joy of photographing since he was a tiny little guy of just a few days old. he’s so big now! aren’t his eyes so expressive?

i photographed this little guy when he was just a few days old and now he’s 2! holy cow, where did time go?

i can’t say this enough: i LOVE to photograph 7-8 month old babies. they’re just so full of joy and they love to flirt with the camera. it’s the ultimate “baby” age in my opinion. this little guy was awesome – so happy, so sweet and with such doting parents.

Another session with two adorable girls!

as usual, when i’m swamped with sessions, i neglect my little blog. i’m working on getting caught up!
a few weeks ago, neil shot this family and created some amazing images! i love his fresh take on family portraits. it was such a fun urban family photo session, in the best location ever: milwaukee’s third ward!

I recently had the privilege of photographing a beautiful newborn for a family I’ve photographed before. I love how squishy babies are the first few weeks of life while they are newborns. It is a time of their life that is never again possible to capture and I’m honored this family welcomed me to document the new addition to their family.

I just finished this session earlier today and found a few photos to share. We did a few traditional shots against the backdrops in my studio for formal yearbook photos and then headed out for some more laid back and funky urban portraits.

Because last summer’s Limited Edition sessions were so popular, we’ve decided to bring them back this summer – for July AND August – twice the fun!
Here’s the scoop:
You’ll receive a one-hour studio or urban session, a gorgeous ten-image photo album and an 11×14 wall print. The session fee is $500 — a savings of $180! There are a limited number of sessions available, so call or email us right away!
As always, please feel free to call or email with any questions. You’re also welcome to schedule an in-studio consultation to discuss your portrait ideas and needs.
~~
Also, Christine Plamann Photography was recently nominated for Milwaukee’s Best Family Photographer by Nickelodeon’s Go City Kids web site. But to be crowned the best, we need your support! Vote for us at the Go City Kids web site! You can vote once per day through mid-July – so vote often!
Join us for another fabulous portrait event-
Saturday, April 25th
Sunday, April 26th
Monday, April 27th
These studio-style mini sessions are complementary and are just in time for Father’s Day gifts! For every $100 spent at freckle face between 4/3 and 5/17, we will give you a 4×10 mini photo collage.

Call by April15, 2009 to take advantage of this offer. (The session must be scheduled and paid for by April 15, but the session itself can take place anytime!)
oh my goodness, it’s been awhile, hasn’t it? i’ve been traveling a great deal these past few weeks. first, five days in las vegas for a photographers convention and tradeshow. my husband came along and we had a great time learning, checking out new product offerings and networking with other photographers from across the world. i’m excited to take what we learned and incorporate it into an even better and more unique experience for our clients!
this past week, i travelled to the twin cities for some awesome sessions with my nephew, mike, who is an up and coming photographer. many of you will meet him this summer while he works at the studio. we snuck away for a bit to take some fun urban shots of mike and his awesome girlfriend, vicky. (by the way, if any of you are interested in a summertime babysitter, let me know – vicky is looking for a part-time job while she’s in milwaukee with mike!).

after a long drive back from minneapolis on monday night, i got an early start to chicago on tuesday morning. i visited clients from lincoln park, glencoe and evanston and was lucky enough to enjoy dinner on my way home with my beautiful sister in law, joan, to celebrate her birthday. on wednesday morning, i headed back to the gurnee area for a lovely newborn session. isn’t she sweet?

oh how i love a newborn’s sweet little sleep smile-

i have SO many more recent sessions to share (especially newborn and maternity sessions!) and i promise to get better about posting them!
i’m running out the door to catch a flight, but i wanted to post the winner of this year’s give away contest. thank you all so much for participating ~ your entries made me laugh, smile and cry. i’m brainstorming on a way to reward everyone who entered, so watch for an email from me with more details in the next few weeks.
meanwhile, i was incredibly surprised when i saw that FOUR different people nominated the same family. as far as i know, and as far as the nominated family knows (i already called her to ask!), these four people don’t know each other and didn’t know anyone else would be nominating the family.
this year’s winner is the aldrich family. i’m looking forward to photographing jake and his family.
thank you to those who entered and keep an eye out for an email from me detailing something special that i’m planning!
this cute patootie and his awesome mama came to the studio for a session a couple of weeks ago. we captured so many awesome portraits – i can’t possible pick favorites!

i recently had the pleasure of traveling from milwaukee to indiana to photograph the sweetest, sleepiest newborn and his amazing new daddy. due to his rather eventful entrance into the world and some unforeseen hiccups, we did this session in their hotel room where they’re camping out for the next couple of weeks. i can now add ‘extended stay hotel room’ to my list of locations![]()
meet baby jonah

i have had so many fun sessions lately and i promise to get better about posting the images! before i sign off, let me post a few from a session i did at the beginning of the year. sweet clara moved to seattle with her family and had to leave her two best friends behind. to celebrate their friendship, they came in for a fun, fun, fun session so that each girl could have an album of the three of them.

okay, one more of my two little sweeties. i love this!
